HEAT training to remember

It’s always an immense pleasure when yet another HEAT training is over and not only the participants but also all the instructor team brings home new experiences and memories of the time spent together. Working with the humanitarian students was an amazing experience and we wish all of them a great start in their careers.

With their permission, we’d like to share their own evaluation of the training:

Last week was very demanding for us and few of us are likely to ever forget it. The HEAT training included everything it possibly could. Pain, happiness, joy, tears, and tears again; but mainly an incredible learning opportunity for all of us. Thank you for letting us be a part of such a great project, and even though we wanted to kick your asses at some points, do believe it was a great experience from which we shall draw for the rest of our lives.

We have grown so much, not only as individuals, but also as a team of people. Thank you for giving us an opportunity to get to know each of you [as instructors], you are incredible people with a wealth of experience. Thanks for not being afraid to pass on what you have experienced yourself – you do it so well. You are very inspirational people to whom we all look with great respect.
