Salanga provides us with personal security training of our staff for almost two years. We really appreciate their ability to adapt the program to fit our needs. Every training is different and includes a diverse group of participants composed of both junior-level officers, as well as senior humanitarian aid workers. All of these participants have vastly different ideas and experience and Salanga is quick to offer solutions specifically tailored to their needs. Not only are they able to understand the context of the countries where we work, our internal procedures and therefore our general approach to safety and security, but they also listen to the participants themselves and adjust the activities according to the energy of the specific group.

Salanga is also able to facilitate discussion effectively, making each participant feel included. They bring in relevant personal experience, which brings the training closer to reality. The trainers understand that people have a lot to learn from each other and they make it a point to enhance learning potential by pairing participants from different backgrounds together. The trainers are professionals and they are getting even better with every training. They know that any educational course requires constant evaluation and improvement and are always keen to streamline the training. In this way, they are both teachers and learners themselves.

We plan to work with Salanga again in the future and we would gladly recommend them to other organizations, NGO or otherwise."
